Im back

I’m back! I’ve been very busy for awhile, that’s why I haven’t posted.

I’m back in gymnastics. I had to stay out of it for awhile because I had a sore hip. Actually, I thought it was my hip, I was on crutches for 5 weeks. I had to go to a bone doctor and then he thought it was my kidneys because my hip looked good. I went back to my doctor who had blood work done and then another x-ray. My blood was good. I went back a week later and the doctor that reads the Xray said I may have sponilothesis. But, my pain was gone so, if it comes back then I have to go to Madison to a kid spine doctor. I’m happy to be back in gymnastics. My teacher was teasing me telling me she could tell I was gone for a while. I guess I lost some muscles, but she said they would come back.

I get to go to Lions Camp again this summer. I am really excited. I love going there. Last year was my first time there and I had alot of fun. The boys wanted to jump in the mud pit, but the girls didn’t want to so I didn’t get to. I hope the girls will want to this year.

My mom is finding lots of different stuff for me to do. I may go to a camp on medieval times. That’s for two weeks. That’s long. Mom said PooWee sure would miss me, but I would have a whole bunch of fun.

My VI teacher found a sports camp for me. It’s only for a weekend. I have to write a letter why I want to go and what I want to learn there. I don’t like writing about that stuff. Mom said she would help me. My VI teacher has to write stuff too for me to go. We have to do it fast because I have to have it in by Fri.

I want to join tackle football this summer too. But, I don’t know if I can.

I hope I can get into Camp Inventions. We get to take stuff apart and put them back together. My friend said it is really fun.

I will be in soccer again too. I will miss alot because of all the camps. I like soccer. Mom likes me playing sports with the ball on the ground. But I did get hit in the face with the ball last summer. Mom said she heard the smack from where she was sitting. I was OK. The coaches all ran over and were all over me. I didn’t like that I just wanted to keep playing.

The snow is starting to melt. I’m happy. I don’t wear my jacket anymore and mom gets mad. I’m hot and she says it’s still cold out. She worries too much.

My mom has a date with her boyfriend tomorrow. I like to tease her. She says he’s not her boyfriend, but she’s going to dinner with him. He’s her boyfriend. It’s so funny. She met him at a meeting at my school. He doesn’t live here so she’s going to where he is. I have to sleep at my grandma’s because she won’t be come until 10 at night. My grandma will spoil me then.

I have a guitar concert on Thursday. My mom can’t come because she has to go to Andrew’s school to talk with his teachers on how he is doing. My grandma is going to come though. We get pizza after the concert. I like playing guitar. I learn after school for two hours on Tuesday and Wednesday. My principal teaches me and other kids. I know 5 strings so far.

Well, I want to play some games. I’ll try to write sooner next time. BYE!

Thurs. 1-31-07

 Thank you for visiting my blog everybody. I was happy to have comments. I didn’t believe my mom when she told me I had them.

We had all day Wednesday off from school too. It was really cold here. The wind chill was negative 47 degrees. Mom wants to move wear its warm. Like by my auntie Gayle in Arizona. I would like to go to.

Andrew my pain in the butt big brother is going to Spain on Fri. because his dad is getting married. He’s going to buy me a t-shirt. My mom gave him money to get me and PooWee one. I will miss picking on him. I don’t have to fight to use the computer now.

Andrew’s friend Chad is moving in. Chad is not his real name. Mom said I shouldn’t use real names. Only if the person says its ok to use. He will share Andrew’s room with him. It will be like I have another big brother in the house.

My baby brother PooWee knows sign language. He can do drink, eat, baby and kitty. He says momma too. He is climbing all up on everything. Mom found him on top of the kitchen table once. Now we really have to watch him. We try to build walls so he can not climb up on some stuff. I like to wrestle and chase him around the house. I like to bounce him on my moms bed too. He will fly up in the air sometimes.

I didn’t get to learn anymore long white cane this week because school was closed. I hope my teacher comes next week. When I’m all done learning it I get to keep it. I get a new one every year because I grow. My teacher is really nice. She taught me what blended curbs were and to always walk in the right doors and right side of the halls.

I have to go to my babysitters while Mom works this weekend. She is really nice and fun. I play with her son alot. I rented a movie and a video game to take over there. PooWee doesn’t take naps for her, but she doesnt mind. She really likes him too.

I have to do my homework, feed my animals and then go to bed now so I can’t write anymore tonight.

Hello

Hi my name is Elijah. Which is kinda obvious because my blog is called Elijah’s World. I am 9 years old. I’m in the third grade.

I like gymnastics, basketball, soccer and football. I love art. I like playing with my baby brother, we call him PooWee. PooWee is 14 months old. I have a big brother, named Andrew and he’s a big pain.  I like to write stories too.

I have cone/rod dystrophy. I can’t see too good. I use a CCTV, magnify glasses, and monocular. They help me see better. I am learning the long white cane. When I’m older I want to have a dog.

Today we got out of school at 11:00 because of the weather being so cold. We took my grandma out for lunch for her birthday and they sang happy birthday to her. It was really funny. Then I watched a movie and then my mom made me clean my room. Now I have to do some math and then go to bed.
